Procedures of the CYBER School of Instructors
CYBER Kids success is based in Quality Control and Maintenance of Standards as described in the Procedures of the CYBER School of Instructors.
The Company is ISO9001/2 registered and follows defined procedures and controls. Every person involved in CYBER Kids should be well aware of the CYBER Kids Methodology, should read carefully the CYBER Kids Operations Manual and complete the corresponding Training Units.

Below is a summary of key procedures.
Recruitment and Selection of Prospective Trainers
Recruitment Process
The process of Recruitment most involve the Management. The decision to recruit new Instructors can be announced at various levels (e.g. current branches, instructors, media).
Selection and Hiring Process
The selection process has two phases: (a) Pre-selection exam. Can be written or oral, (b) Hiring, usually a committee which includes representative(s) from Management execute interviews.
Pre-registration Procedures
Before the placement of any new associate in the Training Program the following procedures should be completed:
- General orientation about CYBER Kids====
- Submit a complete set of personal documents and certificates together with a detailed CV written in the CYBER Kids Format.
- Sign and return the Code of Honor and the Proprietary Information & Inventions Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement.
- Sign the (Part-time) Employment Agreement. All Agreements are signed with the Operations Officer in four copies.
All above procedures are completed together with the National Training Officer. Procedures 2&3 require four copies to be signed.
Registration Procedures
The new associate is placed in the Training Program after the following procedures are completed:
Orientation
The Training Officer informs the new Trainer of all rules and procedures of the Training Department and sends him to Operations Officer/Librarian to hand out and debit him/her this Training Manual.
Preparation of Training Record(s) & LogBooks
The Trainee is informed about the Training Record Procedures and his/her personal copy of the record and LogBook is prepared, debited and filed.
Course(s) Waiver
The Training Officer consults with Trainee and agree on subjects and/or courses that need to be waived. Appropriate documentation (photocopies) and a written explanation-decision are added in the Trainee's file and LogBook.
Training Plan
The Training Officer hands out a Training Plan with the following information.
- Date, Place and Time of Training
- Material to be covered and Codes
- Contact Information (Person to call to confirm or cancel)
Debit and Sign
Debit and Sign for all materials, notes, curricula or other educational volumes and or books or software handed over by Operations/Library Officer. Wherever this applies.
Trainer Assessment of Trainers
Upon completion of the initial training program, each Trainer who delivered should submit to the Head of Training and Assessment Report on each of his/her Trainee.
Issue of CYBER Instructor's Certificate
Upon the successful completion of the Initial Training, fullfillment of all pre-and registration procedures and within the first one month of practical training, instructors are required to pass an oral examination before their CYBER Instructor's Certificate can be issued. A certificate preparation fee of $20 is payable to Operations.
Continuing Procedures
Whether involved actively in training or not, the procedures below need to be followed. Note that the validity of any training is maximally 2 years when involved in the process and 1 when not active in Teaching.
Continuous Personal Records Updates
The Instructor΄s Personal File and CV need to updated at least once every year.
Continuing Training Record and LogBook Updates
In most cases, Training takes place twice a year for one week each time. In special cases, there are continuing training sessions throughout the year. Single international Franchises undergo training only for 1 week per year unless agreed differently. It is the Instructor's responsibility to ensure proper updating of the Training Record.
Updating of Teaching Records-CYBER Base
Two types of records are kept in each class: (a) Attendance Sheet, (b) Unit(s) covered and notes. Both records need to be entered also electronically in the CYBER Base by the Instructor within 48 hours after completion of the lesson.
Updating of Student's Monthly Record
At the end of each month, instructors should complete the student's Monthly Record.
Research and Questionnaires
All instructors are expected to participate in research as this is required by the curriculum. Some forms of research may involve simple completion of Questionnaires (by Instructors, Parents, or Students) others may involve interactive computer-based ability measurements.
Continuous Instructors' Evaluation
Instructors are continuously evaluated based on an objective and standardized scheme which includes parameters such as academic training, CYBER Kids Training, Customer satisfaction, peer evaluation, class profitability etc. Upon request, Instructors may receive copies of their personal evaluation.
Submit Reports to Management
Submit a monthly (or upon request) report with detailed information (automated report via CYBER Base) on the following issues:
- Date, Day, Time, Level Taught
- Number of students registered-number of students present
- Description of Unit(s) covered
- Special Report with information on:
* Letters, questionnaires to parents, students * Private contacts with parents, students * Participation in special events * Award nominations
Participation in Curriculum Development Unit
Depending upon the type of their Employment Contract, Instructors are encouraged or expected to participate in the Process of Developing Curriculum Units. To do so, they need to contact the International R&D Unit and receive special information, guidelines and materials. Their participation in R&D should be filed in their Practical Training Record and/or Logbook.
Participation in Further Training Opportunities
Depending upon the type of their Employment Contract, Instructors are encouraged or expected to participate in Further Training Opportunities. All their participations should be filed in their Practical Training Record and/or their LogBook. It is the Instructor΄s responsibility to ensure proper updating of the Training Record.
Renewal of License to Teach
The License to Teach as a CYBER Instructor is valid for a maximum of two years when involved in the teaching process or one year when not actively involved. To renew the license, Instructors are required to check in with their Training Officer, complete all records, receive new Training and retake the oral examination. Upon completion of all these, a new Certificate will be issued. A certificate preparation fee of $20 is payable to Operations.
Termination of License to Teach
- Partial: Any Branch Manager or Headquarter Director has the right to terminate the license of an instructor to teach at a specified branch. Such a decision should be accompanied by a written report to the National Headquarter explaining the reasons for the decision. This report is filled with the Instructor's file.
- Total: The Headquarter Management has the right to completely terminate the license of an instructor to teach and request return of the certification.
